Beauty and the Beat

Ashley, Doug and I laughed so hard at this video. Apparently, I love spins on this song. Plus, this version has guest appearances from a few of our favorites - GloZell, Antoine Dobson and Sweet Brown.

"Cause she look a crusty mess!"
"Right from the moment I had met you seent you, I said you bangin and I fell."
"She thank she in a fury tale."

P.S. You'll be home in three days. We are SO excited to finally show you this blog. Hannah and I were talking about it the other day, and we can't believe we created it two years ago!

Disney Princesses Brought To Life

I'm currently in the middle of writing a memo.  It is not going as well or as smoothly as I want, so, naturally, I just took a little (giant) break to mindlessly surf the internet.  In doing so, I stumbled upon the coolest graphic design project ever.  Of course, you have to understand, my love of Disney might be warping my definition of "coolest graphic design project ever..."

A design student studying at Arts University College at Bournemouth decided to bring the Disney Princesses to life using photoshop and a composite of photographs.  I think he totally nailed it and some of them do look realistic.  Also, I'm pretty sure he used a picture of Kim Kardashian somewhere in his creation of Jasmine.  Jirka's (the design student) website.

And if this wasn't enough Disney Princess for you, you could always check out an artist's rendition of the Disney Princesses in accurate period costume!

Love Ashley: Bitchy Beauty and the Beast

Ashley posted this on my wall and said, "You need to watch this."  Later, my friend Caitlin commented on Ashley's post, "Oh my god, I literally came to Lauren's page to post this exact same thing!! I don't know why but I immediately thought of you Lauren when I saw this :) I'd pay money to watch the whole thing of this with you!"  I'm not totally sure what that says about me - that I'm bitchy and I like Disney maybe?

Okay, that said, it is HILARIOUS.  It actually kind of seems like something Ashley and I would do if we had the technological know-how...

"A boy and a pig? This town sucks."
