Okay, Olivia passed this video along to me with the accompanying explanation, "These 2 went to high school with Billy and me and now they're getting married....this video is him rapping about it....I'm dying..." I think it will be infinitely funnier to you because you actually know the artist of this video, but, even as a complete stranger, I could still really appreciate it. The aahhhh-ing in the background combined with the incredible lyrics ("She was his trash, but now she's my treasure. When she walks in the room, I get instant pleasure.") really makes for a killer wedding announcement...
On a related note, where can I find a man that will rap about me?
I really need to start watching the Ellen show regularly. Olivia posted this on my wall, and I laughed out loud. I may have actually enjoyed it more than most people would because I've been through a haunted house with Brooke. It pretty much looks exactly like this. Happy Halloween!!
Ashley posted this on my wall and said, "You need to watch this." Later, my friend Caitlin commented on Ashley's post, "Oh my god, I literally came to Lauren's page to post this exact same thing!! I don't know why but I immediately thought of you Lauren when I saw this :) I'd pay money to watch the whole thing of this with you!" I'm not totally sure what that says about me - that I'm bitchy and I like Disney maybe?
Okay, that said, it is HILARIOUS. It actually kind of seems like something Ashley and I would do if we had the technological know-how...
I realize the big kicker of this article is that aCAT was summoned for jury duty. I, however, am more amazed by the cat owner's quote: "Sal is a member of the family so I listed him on the last Census..." Who in their right mind thinks of a cat like that?! Dogs, I could understand, but cats?? (Okay, she did list him under "pets," which indicates she's not completely insane, but still...)
I do wish the owners had just shown up with the cat at jury duty. "Sal is here for his summons..."
These videos come via a one Ashley B., who, as you know, is one of the funniest people alive. I don't know how she found them, but they are so hilariously weird, which is probably why I like them. Actually (and this is a quick tangent), today, at church, a kid introduce himself and said that he is going to be in the branch for the summer. I guess he was here last year summer because Ashley seems to know him. She leaned over to me and said, "You'll like him. He's weird and funny." Apparently, those are my qualifications for friendship and/or romance - weird and funny. Awesome. Anyway, these videos are weird and funny. Enjoy.
I guess this masked pumpkin man showed up on a news show in Omaha, Nebraska one Halloween.
Libby posted this on my facebook wall. It is amazing. I can't tell if it's a joke or not. If it is, genuis. If it's not, well then it's all the more amazing.
I love that Champ looks exactly like Chloe. You'll have to try this on her when you get home. You know she'll still be alive...
Of course Olivia was your first friend to send something to the When Elder Hagee Comes Home blog. I would expect nothing less! She thought you'd appreciate this, and after watching it and laughing out loud, I have to agree.
Elder Billy Hagee is currently serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is serving in the Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Mission and speaking Russian.
UPDATE - Billy's home! He successfully completed a full-time honorable mission. We're so proud!
What This Blog Is All About
Elder Hagee is probably one of the funniest people you will ever meet. While his sisters are thrilled that he is serving a mission, they really miss him and his ability to make them laugh. They also miss his input in the exchange of SNL and video clips, music, websites and funny stories that are often facebooked, emailed, texted and otherwise shared between the four of them. In effort to keep that tradition alive while allowing Elder Hagee to focus solely on the mission, his sisters created this blog to document all the stuff they would have shared with him had he been home. They look forward to the day when they'll actually get to share it all with him. UPDATE - Billy loved his blog! We're still posting, though, because it's the easiest way to share with each other.
