Two Videos I've Enjoyed Recently

I laughed SO hard when I watched this clip. First of all, I relate.  Do you remember my wall of Prince William pictures? Pretty sure this is exactly how I'd be should I ever meet William and Kate. Also, Jimmy Fallon's reaction to the whole thing totally cracks me up. And finally, her fan fiction is the best!

TONY TONY TONY TONY 2012

The Tony's were last night and as per usual, they were wonderful. Plus Patti LuPone made several appearances and she's da bomb. Plus she just always reminds me of the Will and Grace episode where Jack wants to cut her hair. This year was def the year of revivals and there were also like double the performances than last years show. Which, less-be-honest, that's pretty much why I watch the show.

This was the opening number and I laughed out loud through most of it. Despite my somewhat mixed feelings of the musical as a whole, this song is amazing.

Then Neil PH, who was hosting, sang this song. It's okay, not as good or funny as his song from last year, but not bad.

There were four musicals nominated for best revival of a musical and they all performed.

The first was "Follies." I know nothing about this musical, but I do know that you like it. However, this performance was by far my least favorite...

Next was Evita. Anyone in the cast look familiar? I'll give you a hint, he's livin la vida loca.

Next was Porky and Bess, which was probably my favorite preformance of all the revivals. Lets go on a trip to NYC to see it.

And last was Jesus Christ Superstar.

Porky and Bess ending up winning the Tony and then Audra McDonald (the main girl in Porky and Bess) won Best Actress. Also, did she look familiar to you? She played Grace in Annie!

The four musicals that were nominated for Best Musical were;

NEWSIES! AHH!! We must see!

The next is a musical called "Leap of Faith" and from just this performance I think it looks like it would be pretty funny

Here is the performance from "Nice Work If You Can Get It" and Broadway's favie Matthew Broderick is in it.

The last musical nominated was "Once" and I thought this performance was awesome.

Once ended up winning Best Musical and the main guy won Best Actor.

There were a few more performances from Godspell and Ghost (neither of which I think are good enough for the blog) but there was this mash up of the "Year of Plays" and I'm putting it on here so you can see some of the "Peter and the Star Catcher" I was telling you about.

Okay that was totes long and it took me forever. See you ONE MONTH from today!!!!

Love Olivia: Ellen's Writer Goes Through a Haunted House

I really need to start watching the Ellen show regularly. Olivia posted this on my wall, and I laughed out loud. I may have actually enjoyed it more than most people would because I've been through a haunted house with Brooke.  It pretty much looks exactly like this. Happy Halloween!!

I Heart Rob Dyrdek

So in your last letter to me (or maybe it was an email, I don't remember) you mentioned that you couldn't wait to get back and watch Rob and Big with me. Well I have GREAT news. Rob and Big isn't on anymore but Rob has a new show called "Fantasy Factory" and this season Big is BACK, and so far the season has been hilarious. Whenever Garrett and I watch the new episodes we end of laughing so hard. The first two clips are my favorite episode so far this season. Rob and Big are helping Rob's cousin Drama turn into a "Man-Dime." My favorite part is right after he gets his vaneers and his mouth is swollen (around 8 minutes).

Hannah Judd showed me this in class today and it is classic. First of all, it is from Wife Swap which is a great sign, but second the first minute of the clip is all about chicken nuggets. Yes please!

Watermelon to the Face

My Physics teacher likes to use videos and pictures to help teach the class about whatever it is we are learning. He showed us this video the other day...but basically it was because this video is hilarious. Not because it has anything to do with Physics.

T.R.A.A.A.P.D.

Last Saturday, Mom, Dad and I watched a rerun of SNL.  It was the one hosted by Taylor Swift.  I think I've seen the second half of that episode at least twice, but the first half was totally new to me.  One skit in particular made me laugh so hard - I was literally struggling to catch my breath.  It's funny because, in my experience (and yours since we have the same parents), it's true.  I think you'll find one part to be exceptionally dead-on.

It's the bird and the bees part.  Bring back any good memories??
